Welcome!

This website is dedicated to the International Baccalaureate Technology Program at Lake International School and Lake Middle School. This website includes Lessons and Lesson Units for the three (3) grade levels: Level 1 (6th Grade), Level 2 (7th Grade) and Level 3 (8th Grade). Each level has its own set of curriculum and standards as directed by Denver Public Schools. This is a unique program in that it mimics Online or Distance Learning, but done in the classroom, yet focuses on the International Baccalaureate philosophies and ways of learning.

Students will be learning skills that is now being used at the high school and, in some cases, college levels. We are preparing our students for greater success and achievement.

This success is clearly seen in our CSAP scores.  Results of our CSAP testing scores are UP and Lake was featured on 9news on August 3rd.  Here's the video

By the time you have completed the 8th grade, not only will you know technology, you will have applied all the major core subjects like Literacy, Math and Science in Technology.  This enforces what you have learned in these classes into your technology class.  And, this will show in your CSAP scores.  Congratulations to all for a job well done!

Parents, your son/daughter will have an exciting Technology program here at Lake International School and Lake Middle School.  You are encouraged to use this site to keep track of what your son or daughter is learning in their Technology class. Parents can track their lessons and assignments by reviewing the Calendar of Assignments located in each of the grade level web pages. Parents should always keep an open and ongoing conversation with their son or daughter regarding their progress in this class.
