Welcome to Level 2 Technology

This portion of the website contains lessons and instructions for use by 7th graders. 

Your instructor will guide you through these pages to successfully complete all lessons at this level.  There are three (3) major areas of this page with which you should become familiar.  These areas are Learning.com, Gaggle.net and the Lessons Pages (Lessons 1 through 8). 

Learning.com:  Every student throughout the school district is using Learning.com as the main way to learn their lessons.  Your instructor assigns lessons and activities on Learning.com.  All you have to do is complete them by watching videos and working on the online activities.  Learning.com automatically grades you.  This is how your instructor keeps track of your grades.  Keep in mind that your instructor will be using the Grading system found on the Technology Home page.  Note:  You must score 70% or better to receive a good grade. If not, Learning.com will force you to do the lesson again.

Gaggle.net:  The school district has provided a Student-Safe online environment where students can email, blog and save work on the Internet.  What this means is that no one has access to your work and information and Gaggle.net watches what you write, download, save, etc. so as to ensure safety of others.  Your instructor will show you how to use Gaggle.net in a separate lesson.

Lessons Pages:  You will notice on the menu on the left hand side all your lessons for this Trimester.  Each one presents the major area of study--each one focuses on a different Lesson Unit.  Each day you're in class, your instructor will inform you of what needs to be done for each lesson.
